Herbal Adaptogens workshop – Friday, March 1 from 6:30 – 9:30 pm at the ManiStone Centre, unit 215 – 507 Baker Street, Nelson BC.

Herbal Adaptogens can help us adapt and thrive through the challenges life gives us, modulating the effects of stress, and allowing us to optimize our physical and mental performance. This workshop is a collaborative panel discussion with three Nelson based herbalists: Myself (Patrick Kooyman) from Blue Lotus Ethnobotanicals, Marie Zak and Travis Cartwright. We will explore six of our favourite adaptogenic herbs and fungi, and share with you important aspects of using adaptogens as medicine. We will discuss how the individual’s constitution, season of the year, energetics of the herbs, and the various causes of stress in our lives influence the effects of herbal adaptogens. The goal of this workshop is to enable you to be able to choose the appropriate adaptogens for the challenges in your life, and empower you with the knowledge on how to use these herbs to their greatest benefit.

Cost is $20 per person, and all participants will be entered in a draw to win herbal consultations and products! Space is limited, to reserve your spot please register at:
